What's so "bad" about half chaps?

I don't think there is anything wrong with half chaps. I actually them myself and love them. They just aren't allowed in "upper level" shows. But if someone says something to you about just tell them that its what you prefer wearing and if they have a problem with it that's their problem not yours. not tryin to sound rude or anything but its true.
