Typical question about birth control and sex?

Maybe if you dont want to ask her straight out, then dont say its for sex. I was put on birth control when I was in 7th grade because my periods were SOOOO bad. I would get God awful cramps, I would throw up, etc. And this was every month, so I was always missing school and what not. It really helped. However, I think honesty is the best policy. Try and explain to her that you are trying to be safe and responsible. You are a young adult, and are trying to take the proper precautions to prevent pregnancy. Good luck, and I hope all works out!
