What's the appeal of BDSM (if it's explainable)?

i think the point is to be hurt with bdsm people. they get turned on by the fact that they're partner could take advantage of them, and to some people pain equals pleasure. the 'sexy' part of it for bdsm practicioners isn't that it's rebelllious, it's more.. lol i don't know, but not everyone experiences fear to the same degrees and over the same things. it may not make sense to you, but that doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to someone else.
